"The Lost Boys Cabin"

Hello my name is Douglas and I am a senior at the University of Montevallo, a sleepy little town full of kitschy Victorians and post World War II bungalows. I have always had an intense interest in homes and decor, so when I was offered the chance of a lifetime, moving into an old hippie commune on the water here, I loaded up my car and moved in. There are two cabins located in the woods of Montevallo, originally built by an architect in the late 60's early 70's, these two cabins were built from re-purposed wood from the original Montevallo library and feature  hardwoods in every room, there is a screened porch off the back adjacent to my little bedroom. the house is complete with a wood burning stove, which is appealing in an old fashioned sort of way, but much too cold in the winter. I live here with a band of wild boys, but I continue to cherish my home and the characters that come with it.
